The Breaching of the Constitution of the United States of America

The Breaching of the Constitution of the United States of America

Introduction:
As a conservative Republican I, Ida M Temple, have had it with our President, congress, local politicians and all of the media being more worried about being correct than following the Constitution. It is time for all United States of America citizens to demonstrate and protest this intrusion to our freedoms by demonstrating at each State and U.S. capitol as well as in each locality. If we do not we will end up without Constitutional Freedoms and be ruled by those such as ISIS, or other dictators.

I for one will not tolerate this. You will hear my voice, read my letters, and learn of my protesting to those I have elected that they are to protect our Constitutional Freedoms and see that this Nation and its citizens are protected from outside sources that wish to bring the United States of America down and to rule it with an iron fist.

First off, I am a  Christian Catholic, and wish the Jewish People a happy, safe and wonderful Hanukkah.

First off, I am a  Christian Catholic, and wish the Jewish People a happy, safe and wonderful Hanukkah.

Today on Fox News it was reported that a Jewish Community had to remove the menorah from a public square.

Was it due to a woman who complained that it should not be there with the Christmas Tree and other because it represents religion and the tree does not? As a senior citizen, I have always associated the Christmas Tree with Christmas the birth of Jesus Christ, because that was how I was raised and what I totally believe in.

The removal took place in Lakewood New Jersey by the Mayor of that community, as it was reported in the Asbury Park Press, as well as www.foxnews.com. This Mayor, like all other politician's, bowed down to atheists or other bigoted citizens who believe they themselves are right. These so called citizens of the freest nation in the world have rights just as everyone does and which was given to us by the Constitution  It is the First Amendment of the Constitution, Freedom of Religion. Here I quote this first amendment; The First Amendment (1791) prohibits Congress from obstructing the exercise of certain individual freedoms: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and right to petition. Its Free Exercise Clause guarantees a person's right to hold whatever religious beliefs he or she wants, and to freely exercise that belief, and its Establishment Clause prevents the federal government from creating an official national church or favoring one set of religious beliefs over another. The amendment guarantees an individual's right to express and to be exposed to a wide range of opinions and views. It was intended to ensure a free exchange of ideas even if the ideas are unpopular. It also guarantees an individual's right to physically gather with a group of people to picket or protest; or associate with others in groups for economic, political or religious purposes. Additionally, it guarantees an individual's right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.,

Ever since our President, Congress, and State representatives refuse to do anything about the massacre of Christians in Europe and the United States of America those citizens who are white and bigoted jumped on the band wagon and have decided that they have more rights than any other citizen of this great nation.

Of course we all know that states have their own Constitution that resembles the U.S. Constitution. That being said, we believe in the separation of states and churches. I question this maneuver , since most of us have been raised to believe that the Christmas Tree represents Christmas the birth of Jesus Christ. If states allow this, then should they not allow other religions to place their symbols of their religions on state property?

It is time for the God fearing citizens to put a stop to this. We must raise our voices and write letters in protest against bigotry, and misrepresentation by those we placed in office. Will you join this senior citizen woman who is furious with the actions of some of the citizens of the United States of America?
